What happens if it rains on our session day?
Florida weather can be unpredictable! If rain or storms interfere with our session, we'll simply reschedule for another beautiful sunset evening at no additional charge. I monitor the forecast closely and will reach out if conditions look questionable.

If the weather is REALLY uncooperative, and we can't reschedule due to weather or timing conflicts, your deposit is refunded.
How should we dress for our beach portraits?
Think comfortable and coordinated rather than matching. Soft, neutral colors and flowing fabrics photograph beautifully against the sand and water. Avoid logos, neon colors, or overly busy patterns. I'm happy to offer specific suggestions once you book—I've learned what works best over three decades of beach sessions! Ladies, please bring hair ties, ribbons or headbands. I realize this might not be your first choice, but the beach is often windy. Best to plan accordingly.

Can we include extended family or a large group?
Absolutely! Whether it's grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, or close friends, everyone is welcome. Multi-generational beach portraits are some of my favorites to create. The $350 session fee covers groups up to 10 people.

If you are having a family reunion and want to include everyone, there is an additional $100 charge for groups over 10 persons.
Do you provide prints or albums?
You'll receive all your high-resolution digital files ready for printing anywhere you'd like. Many of my clients love the flexibility of printing their favorites at their preferred lab, creating custom albums, or ordering canvas prints for their homes. I love the quality of MPix.com and highly recommend them.

However, some of my clients want me to take care of all the ordering and shipping. I am happy to do that for you. I use a professional lab and the images are color corrected to my specifications. I can take care of the correct cropping and adjusting the sizes to fit the specific print. All images are shipped directly from the lab to you. After you place your order it will take 5 to 7 business days ... holidays need a little more time, please!

$12 shipping charge per address.
7% Florida State Sales Tax is added to all print orders, regardless of where they are being shipped. No tax is required on the actual photo session per state laws.
What if my children are very young or don't like having their photo taken?I've been photographing families with little ones for over 30 years—wiggly toddlers, shy preschoolers, and reluctant teenagers included! I work quickly, keep things playful and relaxed, and know how to capture authentic smiles without forced posing. The beach itself usually does half the work—kids naturally light up when they're playing in the sand and surf.
How far in advance should we book?
Sunset sessions are limited and book quickly, especially during holidays and peak vacation months (spring break, late fall and winter holidays). I recommend booking 1-2 weeks in advance when possible, though I can sometimes accommodate last-minute requests if my schedule allows. Mid week bookings are often more flexible

Where exactly will our session take place?
I'll recommend the perfect location based on your preferences, group size, and current beach conditions. Popular spots include Clearwater Beach, Sand Key Park, and the quieter beaches around Tarpon Springs. We'll discuss the best option when you book.

Do you do retouching?
The images you receive will be lightly edited and extra people in the background will be removed. If you desire to have extra retouching done, we can discuss pricing.
